Is there a breastfeeding advocate or an attorney who will assist Andrea? A child deserves to be fed properly…
This is not the first case I’ve heard, where CPS has removed a nursing child from his mother because he was normal — thin by formula fed baby standards.
I am a 27-year-old single mom, of two precious children. I have been breastfeeding my son since his birth in June of 2009. Today CPS came to my home and took my son; they claim it’s because I missed one doctor’s appointment, at Children’s Medical Center, in D.C. I have been going there – I went at least 3-times last week. Their only concern is his slow weight gain, which is normal in breastfeed babies.
Please help me. They won’t meet me to give him breast milk and will not set up anything for me, to see him until Monday. They also told me that he was seen by their doctor and that he did not need to be hospitalized.
They fill children full of fats and artificial slop and then want to remove the child from the parents a few years later for being fat. Didn’t you ever wonder if the reason everyone is so fat these days, isn’t entirely our fault. Maybe it’s because our parents fed us that slop they have the nerve to call "formula" and we buy it up.
This young mother needs help — even more so her child. This is true child abuse and the caseworker who removed him should be fired. Pronto.
