   Hi i am a mother of four beautiful girls and never in my life thought that the police would be knocking at my door accusing me of abusing my oldest daughter because the school said that just because she had gotten a spanking the night before and she had fallen down at our apartment playground and bumped her cheek that the injury on her cheek bone had come from me spanking her in the eye! how ridiculous why would a person send there child to school had such a thing happened? Why would the school lye? you say, well it all started when my daughter had come home from school limping and i asked her what happened to you? she told me that she had been dealing with a bully at the school and when they were at recess getting in line to go back inside he ran up and knocked her down while she was running, I called the school to find out why I hadn’t been notified and they said they had no knowledge of the incident. Days went by and my daughter still was having a hard time walking she also had a scrape on her knee that would not heal, one day i took her to the hospital they did x-rays on her knee and told me that she had football injury it would take up to 6 weeks for her to heal but her knee would never be the same again she would always have trouble in that knee for the rest of her life, as any mother would be I was floored and went to the school to to investigate. I got to the school and went to the office first I questioned the secutary first she told me that if an incident had happened she would have made an incident report and it would have been sent with my oldest daughter when she came home. This was the begining of the lies, my daughter had no such letter so the secutary claimed that she had a copy in her computer and could prove my daughter got one and must have lost it, so I asked her to show me the copy, we went to her computer and just as i suspected nothing had ever been reported. Then she tried to accuse my daughter of lying about how the injury took place arguing with her say that she told her that she fell in the class room, tthe injury obviously occured on the playground from the scrapes on her knee, things just got wierder from there i told the lady mot to argue with a 6 yr. old with her mother standing right there, I then showed her the emergency paperwork showing the findings then she told me to talk to the teacher about it as she suddenly got amniesia the teacher also lied and said she knew nothing about it until she saw the paperwork then the teacher said well the boy had to pull a behavior card and lost a recess and how hard it was on him i said it was harder on my daughter not being able to walk right for the rest of her life I was then refered to talk to the pricipal about it because I wanted to know if the childs parents had been notified of his behavior espesially sense he was a boy and my daughter a girl. The principal called me later that day and told me that the HEPA law protected this boy and he could do nothing about it, I said theHEPA law protects domestic violence in the school? ridiculous I felt this was more then just what meets the eye but i said okay and left it alone, until my daughter came home with her har oulled out and saying that now the bully was spiting and pulling her hair and cusing her right in the class room and no one was doing anything about it when she would tell. This boy was white and my daughter mixed race i started to beleave that this was racial and called the discrimantion hotline and the nothwest justice legal project to investagate and that’s when the payback began first i was summoned to court for the becka bill when the time my daughter had been out of school were supposed to be excused suddenly the were unexcused and that was just the begining of this mandated reporting abuse.
