We have lost to the foster parents (non relative placement) all because they were able to hold on to his placment and I was denied my right as an Aunt. I was granted the court order to have him but Department of Children Services ignored the court order for almost and entire year. Foster care in California has some serious issues!!! My voice is one of many and it will never be silenced. I haven’t updated because we were in an appeal process or should I say a sham of the courts in California. I miss you so much. I still ache to have you in our life. I'm so sorry that Ken and Meg were so selfish in the need to have a child that they choose to keep you. I wish I had an endless amount of money to continue this fight. I want you to know that I will be here waiting for you and will send you a letter every year for your birthday. Come what may you will never be far from my thoughts prayers, and most of all my desire to be reunited by the time you are a teenager. I vow to you that we will be reunited some day.
