We have lost to the foster parents (non relative placement) all because they were able to hold on to his placment and I was denied my right as an Aunt. I was granted the court order to have him but Department of Children Services ignored the court order for almost and entire year. Foster care in California has some serious issues!!! My voice is one of many and it will never be silenced. I haven’t updated because we were in an appeal process or should I say a sham of the courts in California.
