they took my children while they spent the night at my mother’s and said they didn’t open a case because they had no reason to but then took my children with out my knowledge and sent them to maine when i called to find out what the hell happened they refused my calls and then told me they didn’t know what i was talking about.i spent 6 months fighting and traveling back and forth to get my kids back from children services in maine.they said i wouldn’t get my kids back but then did not show up in court so the judge dismissed the case.my children are so messed up now i can’t seem to gain control reguardless of what i do.i’m sure they blame me because i am mom i am supposed to protect them unfortunately they don’t understand i couldn’t stop it
maybe your children could talk to mine twins – daughters,14 y. ,they have been thru it all , spent about 14 months in foster care , not knowing why they were there , who put them there , denied any access to me , who was with them practically every day of there life – for eight months . It took a year for them to recover to a point that they can now start to talk about it , until now they refused most any questions about any of this madness we have been thru. I wish I had never tried to cooperate with those reptiles from CPS , I thought it would help everybody and we would get out of there cage , but I was wrong. They need to be fought every inch of the way and never, never admit to anything you have not done , even if you think it will help your children , because you see that nobody ,but nobody will help !! I have gone through alot too in Cedar Rapids, Linn county Iowa. I too am trying to stop DHS/CPS from abusing there powers. Check out my site and maybe if others join us it will stop. I am sorry about what you went through. God above knows what they are doing is wrong in many cases.
