Know about CASA and some other important facts

I am in the fight of my life, and my children’s lives, against CPS, a corrupt system. I will not be beat down! I will stand and fight for my children and for families everywhere who are being or have been greatly wronged by a corrupt system.

CPS and DCFS according to the law is it’s own rule making authority. This means, that they can change their own rules and laws at a whim and implement them prior to being passed by congress. Absolute power brings absolute corruption.

Federal statistics state that in this country 3 million reports of child abuse and neglect come into national child abuse hotlines per year and that two thirds of these reports are false. This is a staggering statistic created by people with malicious intent to destroy another person’s life and the lives of innocent children.

In Flathead County Montana alone, there are 160 children, on average, per day in the foster care system with a total of only 15 foster families. Another staggering statistic.

The law has put in place a stringent process for prospective foster families that is largely based on thorough background and criminal checks. However, this is not always the case. On Monday, October 12, 2009 my children were, thankfully, transfered to the care of my cousin. This transfer was not supervised by CPS as state and federal law mandate. Instead the former foster monster, who we will from here on out refer to as Maple, was given my cousin’s phone number and told that the two of them could work out the transfer personally. My cousin also asked to be certified by the state as a foster parent. Instead of her having to go through the legal process of thorough background and criminal checks she was given a paper to sign that simply stated that she attested to the fact that she had no prior criminal history. This form was not even completely filled out by CPS at the time my cousin was asked to sign it and when she questioned that fact she was told by CPS not to worry and that they would fill in the blanks at a later date. Now, thankfully, my cousin is clean as a bean and actually has no prior criminal record, but lets back up here for just a minute….

If CPS is negating their responsibility to follow the law in checking on and investigating any person(s) that they relinquish physical custody of a child to; how is that child being protected? If simply signing a piece of paper is all it takes for someone to have physical custody of your children; what risk could that possibly put children in? What if CPS relinquished custody of a child to a pedophile or other type of dangerous criminal? Wouldn’t it be too late for that child once the department found out? YOU BET YOUR ASS IT WOULD BE! And, sadly, for many children caught up in the system it has been too late.

Currently in this country, poverty is the leading reason for removal of children from their homes; yet more than half of the nation’s population lives at or below the poverty level. Being poor or impoverished does not mean that you are a substandard citizen, nor does it mean that you are unable to care for your children. Many of you out there who think you have it pretty damn good would be shocked to learn that you actually live at or below the poverty level.

“Out of every 100 reports of child abuse: 58 are false; 21 are poverty cases; 6 are sexual abuse; 4 are minor physical abuse;”… — Richard Wexler, author of Wounded Innocents

Many social service organizations and nonprofit organizations are for the agenda of our corrupt system and have been grossly misled as to the actual statistics surrounding child abuse and neglect. One of those such organizations, I have come to realize, is the National CASA Organization. CASA is an acronym for Court Appointed Special Advocates FOR CHILDREN. The roll of CASA is much like the roll of a guardian ad litem and it is “supposed” to be their priority to ascertain to the courts what is in the best interest of the children based on the facts surrounding the case. These facts are to be obtained through the gathering of information from families, extended families, schools, doctors, social workers and others in the community who have associated with the children and their families.

My case has recently (several weeks ago) been appointed a CASA worker who has not done her job in the least. She has not even met my children or my family or extended family or any other persons who actually have any factual knowledge of the situation surrounding me and my children or my case. In fact, other than talking to me, she has only gathered information from CPS. Today this CASA worker wanted me to sign a release granting her permission to talk to my mother and when I refused I returned home to find an email from her stating that she had been granted by the court to do so regardless. This prompted me to again look over the pamphlet I had received about CASA and to visit their national web site. Under the “about us” tab, this is what I read.

“Whatever time you have to devote to a child, it’s more than that child has ever had. You don’t need any special skills. It’s all about caring and common sense.”
~ Sue and Steve Forestadt, CASA Volunteers

“Today, approximately 780,000 children in the US are caught up in the court and child welfare maze because they are unable to live safely at home. Imagine what it would be like to lose your parents, not because of something you did, but because they can’t—or won’t—take care of you.”

This nonprofit organization is feeding their workers with the idea that all children involved in the system are abused and neglected. This kind of idea breeds ignorance and takes the attention away from the real problem at hand, corruption within the system.

The list below is a list of CASA supporters and donators. These companies, organizations, agencies, persons and so on should be boycotted. So, in my plight to campaign for and raise public awareness I am asking you to boycott the companies, organizations, agencies and persons listed below.

Our system is in great need of reform. You can be heard by your actions and your words. Write your congressmen demanding reform of our nation’s Child Protective Services and help protect our nation’s children.
